Kate McCallum


Kate McCallum, Founder of c3: Center for Conscious Creativity and Bridge Arts Media, LLC. Writer, Producer and Novice Futurist. Kate holds an MA in Consciousness Studies and founded the c3: in 2005 to provide research, education and promote emerging and future trends in arts, media, consciousness and applied creativity towards positive change. www.consciouscreativity.org & www.c3visionlab.org. She is an arts and entertainment industry veteran with over 30 years of experience on such primetime series as Universal Studios’ LAW & ORDER, EQUALIZER and MIAMI VICE to name a few. Kate produced her debut TV movie, “What Kind of Mother Are You,?” for NBC in 1998 then served as VP Creative for Western Sandblast at Paramount for five years where she developed and sold longform and series content. She left the studios to launch a progressive VoD visual music cable network, The Harmony Channel, with Ed Lantz then further returned to her musical roots (as a classically trained soprano) when she joined the LA Opera to work in arts administration with Placido Domingo. Kate founded and is COO of her own transmedia company, Bridge Arts Media LLC, www.bridgeartmedia.com and recently launched an innovative immersive arts and media label, a publishing division and a dome content R&D lab in association with Vortex and the c3, the c3: CreateLAB. Kate writes a blog for the Institute of Noetic Sciences on Transformational Media and Arts, was recently invited to Chair and create a Global Arts and Media Node for the Millennium Project, a global futurist think tank www.millennium-project.org and was also given the honor of being elected as a 2010 Fellow of the Society for New Communications Research www.sncr.org.
