Tommy Rosen has studied and practiced Yoga for 20 years, and is a certified Vinyasa Flow and Kundalini Yoga Teacher. He teaches at YogaCo in Santa Monica and leads retreats with his wife Kia Miller internationally. As a motivational speaker and workshop leader, Rosen has spent nearly two decades working to improve the lives of those recovering from drug and alcohol addiction. Rosen teaches regular Yoga For Recovery classes at YogaCo in Santa Monica, and writes and speaks regularly on this topic.

Rosen is founder and President of The Eco Gift Festival, the first large-scale holiday gift show for the eco-conscious consumer. In 2008, Eco Gift saw 10,000 people purchasing gifts from 150 exhibitors with a full speaker series keynoted by Arianna Huffington as well as 15 live musical performances. Eco Gift set a record for live event waste management by diverting 95% of all “garbage” from landfill in favor of recycling, reuse and composting programs.

Rosen’s passion for live events grew over 25 years of involvement in the music festival scene, hailing back to his first Grateful Dead Show in 1983. Over the past ten years, he has worked with The Bonnaroo Music Festival, The High Sierra Music Festival, The Earthdance Music Festival, The North Beach Jazz Festival, Andrea Bocelli and Universal Music Group.

Rosen is deeply involved in conscious consumerism and blogs regularly. His blogs have appeared on The Huffington Post, Yoga Earth, Intent.com, TheRay.com and Eco Gift.com. He has also published articles in LA Yoga, Yogi Times and Aquarian Times.

Rosen is deeply connected and dialed in to the world of health and yoga through out The US. He helped to launch the Yoga Earth Ambassadors program seamlessly connecting the brand with the top Yoga teachers in the U.S. Rosen is also the Director of Communications for Yoga For Youth (a non profit organization that brings yoga and meditation to kids in the inner city), has intimately worked with large scale events such as Green Festival and The Alchemy Conference, and runs marketing seminars for small businesses and alternative health professionals (yoga teachers, acupuncturists, etc).

Tommy and his wife, Kia, live in Venice, CA. where they study and teach yoga and grow organic vegetables in their backyard.
